Looking for a stone bathroom or kitchen sink for your home? Take a look at some of the many options we have for stone sinks and see some examples of them installed in finished bathrooms and kitchens in this article.
Stone Kitchen Sinks
Granite countertops have been very popular for kitchens for many years, but what about a granite kitchen sink? Leave the stainless steel kitchen sink behind and invest in the durability and beauty of natural stone. Our kitchen sinks come in standard widths and single or dual bowl designs with polished basins and rims, but they also have a natural stone apron on the front that truly showcases the use of the material and has a unique old world farmhouse look. With either a rough cut rustic finish or a carved design, the exposed apron front of the sink really creates a striking detail. Why not celebrate the unique look of the stone instead of hiding it?
The rock face apron on this Giallo Fantasia granite sink has a wonderful rustic look and adds an intriguing contrast in materials and texture to the rest of the kitchen.
This charcoal gray granite kitchen sink looks fantastic with the brick veneer granite back splash in this kitchen.
We also make stone sinks with carved aprons like this floral carving charcoal grey granite kitchen sink that has a beautiful contrast in materials between the bushhammered relief and the polished carvings. If you want a more traditional look you can opt for an under mount sink like this charcoal grey granite under mount sink below:
We have single and double bowl sinks, apron sinks, farmhouse sinks, and under mount sinks. Don’t see what you’re looking for on our website? We can have a sink custom made for you in a different size or stone. Contact us and let us know what you need. Please allow up to 16 weeks for production and delivery on custom sinks.
Tired of plain old porcelain under mount sinks in your bathroom? Our stone vessel sinks offer a unique alternative to the traditional under mount sink and vanity. Rather than hide the sink beneath a vanity, vessel sinks celebrate the properties of the material they are crafted from by displaying the entire sink sitting on top of a wood or stone vanity top with water pouring into it from a freestanding faucet mounted behind the vessel.
The look they give your décor can range from modern to traditional in appearance depending upon the material they are crafted from and the type of vanity and hardware they are used with. We make a wide variety of vessel sinks which will suit almost any taste or style. Our vessel sinks are hand carved from natural stone including Granite, Marble, Travertine, Limestone, and Onyx in many different colors of stone.
We make traditional smooth rimed and unrimed sinks, sinks with a smooth polished inner bowl and edge contrasted by a natural chipped rock face exterior finish that provides a rustic natural look, and rectangular bowl sinks with peaked square corners with a more modern look. Still want to stick with a traditional under mount installation? You can install our vessel sinks under your vanity top too. Take a look at the picture of a commercial building bathroom below for an example:
NOTE: Please keep in mind that while we carry many widely available stone types and colors that are common to the stone countertop industry as well, we cannot guarantee that our sinks will be an exact match for color and appearance with your countertops. Natural stone is likely to have minor differences in shade, colored mineral deposits, and grain.
Vessel Sink Stands
Another idea to consider besides the traditional matching stone vanity top is a vessel sink stand. Vessel sink stands are a unique installation alternative that not only showcases the beauty of the vessel sink with an equally artistic presentation, but they also save considerable space in your bathroom compared to a traditional vanity. Put one in your half bathroom or even add one to your own master bathroom as a 2nd sink so you and your spouse can get ready in the morning at the same time. Our vessel sink stands are made from hand crafted wrought iron and have beautiful flowing sinuous lines and some include leaf and vine details as well. We have many different styles available on our Online Store. Let’s take a look at some installed vessel sinks and stands:
Another option is our stone pedestal sinks. Like our vessel sink stands, pedestal sinks are great space saving alternatives for your bathroom. They complete the look of the natural stone sink with a matching pedestal and with some designs a modest sized built in vanity top as well. Our pedestal sinks are cleverly designed to conceal the unsightly plumbing by including a notch in the back of the pedestal that your piping will fit into. Here are some examples of installed pedestal sinks: Our Florence pedestal sink features a recessed shell bowl design and a built in vanity top, apron, and back splash with a classic design motif.
This classic shell bowl pedestal sink is made from a beautiful polished absolute black granite and stands on an octagonal pedestal base.

Stone Tiles and Mosaics
So you’ve got your sink and countertops picked out for your kitchen or bathroom, but what about the walls? Have you thought about adding a natural stone back splash to your kitchen? What about tiling your bathroom with a beautiful stone mosaic? Carved Stone Creations also has thousands and thousands of square feet of stone tile, stone mosaics, stone border tiles, and stone moldings on inventory. Besides smaller sizes of tile like 4” x 4” or 2” x 2” that work great for back splashes, we also carry a vast selection of mosaic patterns that are pre-mounted to a metal mesh backer. Instead of setting hundreds of small tiles one at a time, just take our 12” x 12” pattern sections and spread grout between the tiles and wipe the excess clean with a sponge to set your mosaic. This kitchen back splash was made from a mosaic and a tile border pattern that we supplied.
Stone tile can also really make a unique and beautiful statement in your bathroom. Why stop at just the floor or your sink and vanity top? You could continue your tile partially up your wall and top it off with stone chair molding, or even tile all of your walls to match the inside of your shower and use a variety of stone colors and sizes with mosaic patterns. The possibilities are endless!
